Metaphysics

I like to think of Metaphysics as a process by which we arrive at philosophical answers that satisfy our need for understanding. Great teachers of the past can give us insight into truth but ultimately, it is what we think and how we feel that determines our reality. It is our consciousness that shapes our experience. This class will give us an opportunity to examine what we think, feel and believe. Then we can decide if it still works and perhaps change our mind if needed. Sunday School

Children are always welcome to stay in our service.  Younger children may enjoy leaving adults right after service begins.  Please have your children accompany you in the sanctuary to join in our joy singing.  They are then invited to go upstairs as the service proceeds through the meditation and talk.  The Sunday School teacher will lead them upstairs for activities, play and snacks.  Near the close of the service around 11:30am, children will be led back to re-join the congregation and receive a blessing from the congregation.

Join us in reading and living through the book The Art of Finding Yourself, by Fiona Robertson. Sign up for the class and purchase a book through the Unity Lincoln Book Store for the great price of $16.95 plus tax. Classes begin Tuesday, February 26th.

Our friends, The Heartland Light Circle, will be here on Saturday, to do “True Light Treatments” for you.  These radiant energy  treatments help cleanse, balance and harmonize the body, mind and spirit.

While Light treatments are not Unity theology, they are very Unity compatible.

Please sign up for your treatment in the foyer at church or call Rev. Toni.  Times available are two per hour from 9:00 to 11:15 am.  All love offerings are shared with Unity Lincoln.

Directly following their monthly light treatments, our friends of the Heartland Light Circle will bless our building and grounds with their very own special energies and Love.  This will be the beginning event of our Consecration Weekend, with plenty of God Light to go around – Come bask in the glow!

We are looking forward to showing you our beautiful spiritual home, so please come mingle, wander around, and explore this beautiful space – inside & out (mind the snow)!  Learn about Unity Lincoln and Unity Worldwide Ministries, make new friends, and enjoy!

Please celebrate with us as we place mementos and memories of Unity Lincoln into our Time Capsule, and dedicate it to the future as a community.

The committing of the Time Capsule into the grounds of Unity Lincoln will take place later in the year (when it’s a little warmer outside).

We invite everyone to lend their blessing as we consecrate our beautiful building and grounds to the spiritual community of Unity Lincoln, to our larger community of Lincoln, to the Unity Movement, and to our beautiful planet Earth! Our special guest will be the President of Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM), Rev. Donna Johnson.
