Metaphysics
I like to think of Metaphysics as a process by which we arrive at philosophical answers that satisfy our need for understanding. Great teachers of the past can give us insight into truth but ultimately, it is what we think and how we feel that determines our reality. It is our consciousness that shapes our experience. This class will give us an opportunity to examine what we think, feel and believe. Then we can decide if it still works and perhaps change our mind if needed. Change your mind and you can change your life! Please join me Sunday mornings, at 9:00 am. ~ Rev. Evan Coleman, LUT
Sunday Service
Please join us each week for moving music,
a great Unity message, and a caring community!
NAMASTE!
Sunday School
Children are always welcome to stay in our service. Younger children may enjoy leaving adults right after service begins. Please have your children accompany you in the sanctuary to join in our joy singing. They are then invited to go upstairs as the service proceeds through the meditation and talk. The Sunday School teacher will lead them upstairs for activities, play and snacks. Near the close of the service around 11:30am, children will be led back to re-join the congregation and receive a blessing from the congregation.

Support Lincoln’s refugee community and have fun doing it at Unity Lincoln’s JOY 4 Project Concert, 7 p.m., Oct. 15. This is the fourth annual JOY Project, and as in the past, attendees are asked to bring at least one item of winter clothing, especially coats, hats and gloves, that are new or in good used condition. Large bags of rice and, of course, money will gratefully be received too. No one will be turned away. Items received will be given to the Refugee Resettlement Office of the Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska for distribution.
The evening’s entertainment will include a sing-along, poetry readings, vocal solos, humorous readings, and the premiere of an original six-part vocal piece with cello and piano. Every year this event produces a great deal of happiness for the attendees – don’t miss it!
Solo performers will include Evan Coleman, Toni Stephens Coleman, Paul Fox, Annie Nuss, Dick Patterson, Connie Rose, and Julia Schleck. Performing the premiere piece by Janet Carlson, under the baton of Damon Lamberty, will be singers Eric Bachenberg, Janet Carlson, Evan Coleman, Toni Stephens Coleman, Paul Fox, Rosemary Hatton, Mark Mesarch, Peigi Mitzner, and Julia Schleck, joined by cellist Michele Bartos and pianist Kerri Flory.
