Come One, Come All!
If you have a desire to spread the Joy of Life through song.
Led by Rev. Evan Coleman, with accompanist Svetlana Yashirin.
Celebrate our congregation members and those we know
whose birthdays occur within this month by joining in a round of
Happy Birthday!
as we stand after our Peace Song.
Metaphysics
I like to think of Metaphysics as a process by which we arrive at philosophical answers that satisfy our need for understanding. Great teachers of the past can give us insight into truth but ultimately, it is what we think and how we feel that determines our reality. It is our consciousness that shapes our experience. This class will give us an opportunity to examine what we think, feel and believe. Then we can decide if it still works and perhaps change our mind if needed. Change your mind and you can change your life! Please join me Sunday mornings, at 9:00 am. ~ Rev. Evan Coleman, LUT
Sunday Service
Please join us each week for moving music,
a great Unity message, and a caring community!
NAMASTE!
Sunday School
Children are always welcome to stay in our service. Younger children may enjoy leaving adults right after service begins. Please have your children accompany you in the sanctuary to join in our joy singing. They are then invited to go upstairs as the service proceeds through the meditation and talk. The Sunday School teacher will lead them upstairs for activities, play and snacks. Near the close of the service around 11:30am, children will be led back to re-join the congregation and receive a blessing from the congregation.
Seven Thousand Ways to Listen: Staying Close to What is Sacred,
by Mark Nepo, is the new book being studied on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm starting February 11th.
Deepak Chopra says of this book, “If you live the questions, life will move you into the answers. Mark Nepo offers you a map to explore the sacred in your own being.”
Friends Book Club — 6 p.m. (Tuesdays beginning February 11). Love offering accepted.
The Five Levels of Attachment
by Don Miguel Ruiz, Jr.
Rev. Evan will host Rev. Sharri Johnson of One Heart Retreat Center by Zoom as she presents The Five Levels of Attachment by don Miguel Ruiz, Jr. beginning February 26th. Study the sequel to The Four Agreements to complete The Wisdom of the Toltecs series.
Learn how attached you are to your own point of view. See what the agreements you have made with yourself have to do with shaping your reality and affecting your future. Discover what options you have to release old attachments and change how you show up in the world.
Enjoy this friendly class room environment (Coffeehouse Church) with music and discussion, beverages and snacks as usual. A $40 tuition is requested on the first night to cover the 4 week class series. Books will be available before the class, please sign up.
Video Conference Class – 6:30 p.m. (Wednesdays beginning February 26).
