Metaphysics
I like to think of Metaphysics as a process by which we arrive at philosophical answers that satisfy our need for understanding. Great teachers of the past can give us insight into truth but ultimately, it is what we think and how we feel that determines our reality. It is our consciousness that shapes our experience. This class will give us an opportunity to examine what we think, feel and believe. Then we can decide if it still works and perhaps change our mind if needed. Change your mind and you can change your life! Please join me Sunday mornings, at 9:00 am. ~ Rev. Evan Coleman, LUT
Sunday Service
Please join us each week for moving music,
a great Unity message, and a caring community!
NAMASTE!
Sunday School
Children are always welcome to stay in our service. Younger children may enjoy leaving adults right after service begins. Please have your children accompany you in the sanctuary to join in our joy singing. They are then invited to go upstairs as the service proceeds through the meditation and talk. The Sunday School teacher will lead them upstairs for activities, play and snacks. Near the close of the service around 11:30am, children will be led back to re-join the congregation and receive a blessing from the congregation.
Begin 2018 by setting your new intention. Come, be a part of this meaningful ceremony as together we affirm the highest and the best for you, and yours, thru 2018!

Board of Trustees – January 2018 Meeting
If you would like to present an item directly to the Board of Trustees, please let Rev. Toni or a Board member know. The first 10 minutes of the meeting can be made available for such presentations.
On Sunday, January 7th, 2018 at 1:00 pm we welcome Svetlana and her piano students to perform for us. This is a lovely family event – great to bring children to!
As you know, Svetlana’s passion is with classical music. She will treat us to some of her favorites. We support her budding pianists as they share the efforts of their hard work.
Don’t let the holidays be over until you have experienced this concert! It will last a too short hour after church.
Book study with Adeline Mickens begins Tuesday, January 9th at 6:00 pm. This new book by bestselling author, Ellen Debenport, guides us through change with ease and grace. Hell in the Hallway, Light at the Door will be available in class for $20, and the workbook will be available for $5. Come and join us!

Here is your chance to learn to speak Unity! Led by Rev. Toni & Evan Coleman, in this workshop we will discuss our plans for the move, and meeting and engaging the new neighborhood. We will talk about opening up our culture to include new people. We will have team training segments so that everyone has an awareness of each other’s team tasks. This will include ushers, greeters, worthship leaders, hospitality, and prayer chaplains. There will be time for discussion and questions. Please also attend the Tuesday evening follow-up classes, January 18th & 25th at 6pm.
