Come One, Come All!
If you have a desire to spread the Joy of Life through song.
Led by Rev. Evan Coleman, with accompanist Svetlana Yashirin.
Metaphysics
I like to think of Metaphysics as a process by which we arrive at philosophical answers that satisfy our need for understanding. Great teachers of the past can give us insight into truth but ultimately, it is what we think and how we feel that determines our reality. It is our consciousness that shapes our experience. This class will give us an opportunity to examine what we think, feel and believe. Then we can decide if it still works and perhaps change our mind if needed. Change your mind and you can change your life! Please join me Sunday mornings, at 9:00 am. ~ Rev. Evan Coleman, LUT
Sunday Service
Please join us each week for moving music,
a great Unity message, and a caring community!
NAMASTE!
Sunday School
Children are always welcome to stay in our service. Younger children may enjoy leaving adults right after service begins. Please have your children accompany you in the sanctuary to join in our joy singing. They are then invited to go upstairs as the service proceeds through the meditation and talk. The Sunday School teacher will lead them upstairs for activities, play and snacks. Near the close of the service around 11:30am, children will be led back to re-join the congregation and receive a blessing from the congregation.
From the publisher: “What are you waiting for? For someone to save you? If so, you’re not alone. But it’s not going to happen. Your parents won’t rescue you. Your friends won’t carry you. No one’s coming. Know why? Everything you are seeking is within you already. Because you’re already here. You Are The ONE.
You Are The One is a reflection of Blackson’s unique and distinctive thoughts, teachings, stories, and poetic inspirations to help you access your true power and live boldly and fully in the world—with no regrets.”
“Kute Blackson is a bold voice and leader for the new generation of seekers. His book You Are The One is a unique message that will inspire you to fulfill your full potential and create the life you want!” – Jack Canfield
“Kute Blackson is a leading visionary in the field of personal development. His work is remarkable, powerful, and will transform your life. You Are The One is a must read for all!!” – Larry King
“You Are The One is a guided journey to the center of your soul. Kute Blackson shares with us ancient truths in a language we can all understand.” – Levar Burton
Friends Book Club — 6 p.m. (Tuesdays beginning November 12).
By popular request, yes, we will have Thanksgiving Dinner together in our church home. Thursday, November 28th we will gather around 3:00pm, with supper served around 4:00pm.
Rev. Toni and Evan will provide a turkey and ham, dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy. Who will bring all the other fixin’s? A sign up will be out mid-October. Please sign up so we know how much we need and how many seats to set up. We like to make this a sit down meal, if possible.
Anybody have some light entertainment to provide – like a story or light skit?
