Come One, Come All!
If you have a desire to spread the Joy of Life through song.
Led by Rev. Evan Coleman, with accompanist Svetlana Yashirin.
Metaphysics
I like to think of Metaphysics as a process by which we arrive at philosophical answers that satisfy our need for understanding. Great teachers of the past can give us insight into truth but ultimately, it is what we think and how we feel that determines our reality. It is our consciousness that shapes our experience. This class will give us an opportunity to examine what we think, feel and believe. Then we can decide if it still works and perhaps change our mind if needed. Change your mind and you can change your life! Please join me Sunday mornings, at 9:00 am. ~ Rev. Evan Coleman, LUT
Sunday Service
Please join us each week for moving music,
a great Unity message, and a caring community!
NAMASTE!
Sunday School
Children are always welcome to stay in our service. Younger children may enjoy leaving adults right after service begins. Please have your children accompany you in the sanctuary to join in our joy singing. They are then invited to go upstairs as the service proceeds through the meditation and talk. The Sunday School teacher will lead them upstairs for activities, play and snacks. Near the close of the service around 11:30am, children will be led back to re-join the congregation and receive a blessing from the congregation.
Unity Lincoln
Board of Trustees – September 2019 Meeting
If you would like to present an item directly to the Board of Trustees, please let Rev. Toni or a Board member know. The first 10 minutes of the meeting can be made available for such presentations.
New Member Class
Monday, September 16th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, invest in your church family and your future. We don’t have hoops for you to jump through! We invite you to join Unity Lincoln. The first hour we will go through the basics of your church family structure including your national organization, local Unity Lincoln and New Thought affiliates. The second hour we will talk about Unity theology and philosophy, what you will find in our classes, services and interaction with each other. This will include the Unity Lincoln Vision, Mission, and Core Values, and get you started visioning your own place in the family. Key concepts are discernment and consensus.
At the end of the two hours you will be invited to fill out a form for membership. Your membership entitles you to vote and (after six months) serve on the board, as well as act as a voting delegate to Convention, and other activities. You will enjoy member privileges with the building use. New members will be introduced as a member to the congregation Sunday, September 22nd, during service. Now is the time!
